Tom van Veen
Tom van Veen’s practice encompasses several mediums, including performance, painting, narrative texts, sculpture and decor. Through an interplay of colors, van Veen creates a harsh light that absorbs everything, while simultaneously fading certain shades. Describing his work as being based on the theatrical aspect of tragedy, the artist is focusing on themes such as contemporary icons, collective memory, and the intricate connections between them.
