Time flies when you’re having fun! After a wonderful three days, the doors to our fictional landscape are now closed.
Taking place at the Gashouder for the first time ever, we could not have imagined a better edition. Bigger than ever, this sixth edition of Unfair presented new works by more than 40 up-and-coming and renowned artists across a historic 2500m2 venue. UNFAIR22 offered visitors a unique opportunity to buy works directly from the artist in a brand new atmospheric scenography, alongside an extensive public program.
INSPIRED FLIGHT
A unique showcase of works by five emerging contemporary artists that have been awarded one of the Seed Awards by the Prince Claus Fund in 2021. From 100 awardees, we curated a selection that represents global cultural trends for upcoming makers, from all over the world.
ARTIST FUND
This year, in collaboration with our sponsor Kees de Boekhouder. we launch the Artist Fund, a circular monetary fund that supports artists in the development of their presentation for Unfair. With the Artist Fund, we are proud to be the first and probably only art fair to pay participants to take part in our program.
UNFAIR SUMMERÂ SCHOOL
School is IN for summer! A free-of-charge, unique workshop for children led by a real artists.

CURATORIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Every year the artists exhibiting at Unfair are selected by the Curatorial Advisory Committee. This edition the committee consisted of Jeanette Bisschops, Yousef Gnaoui, Aude Christel Mgba, Thomas van Huut and the partners of Unfair.
