Her practice explores researching erotic capital, self-conceptualisation and the deconstruction of contemporary & artistic identity. Through the embodiment of NELLY DANSEN, she explores the boundaries of reality and fiction to captivate and critique the zeitgeist, using her alter ego as the primary tool for queer-feminist expression.

Lately, after performing “Smile, you’re on Camera”, her work has been opening up into the realm of surveillance capitalism #BigBoobiesAreWatchingYou. Her practice is reactive by nature, always intertextual and infused with critical humor. Starring on the cover of Playboy, documenting her interrogation at the U.S. border, or live-streaming from the red-light district, her work thrives on real-world collisions: moments where performance and reality collapse into one another allowing her work to stay ALIVE, open and responsive.
