Erik de Bree
Erik de Bree (1977) creates works that are the results of an ongoing investigation into what happens when he creates opportunities for coincidence to occur. His work strongly focuses on non-painterly materials, primarily working with wallpaper, wood, and plaster. His works are as much about applying material as they are about removing the same material in a later part of the process.
