Zindzi Zwietering
In a world subject to the climate crisis, Zindzi Zwietering seeks solace as a way to deal with the rapidly approaching future. As an artist, she converts terrifying facts into gentle, almost tender imagery, and faces the future with a sense of wonder as her greatest weapon. Her work offers consolation, but also invites the viewers to contemplate how we, as inhabitants of this earth, will navigate the increasing challenges of water shortages, heatwaves and floods, along with the far-reaching consequences they bring.
