Hagar Schuringa
Hagar Schuringa's artistic practice explores our relationship with the ever-changing landscape and how we treat it as individuals. Her work is a reaction to reality, as she approaches it associatively through image and material: in this way, her works constantly re approach the environment. Schuringa questions the physical space, embracing ambiguousness without the expectation of concrete answers. The artist plays with form and composition, exploring how different colors, shapes, and environments relate to each other and can change when given a new context or composition.
