Cihad Caner
Cihad Caner’s practice explores the politics of image through the mediums of video, photography, music, motion-capture, and CGI. At the core of Caner’s practice is a research-driven approach, revolving around themes of (re)presentation, language, marginalization and alterity. His fictional CGI characters are often multi-lingual protagonists navigating non-linear, metaphorical narratives that employ humor, absurdity, and poetry to critique the status quo.
