Thato Toeba is a multidisciplinary artist working between Amsterdam, Maseru, and Cape Town. Their practice explores power and the political economy of self and world-making through collage, sound, video, and installation. With a background in law, they examine instruments of authority such as archives, religion, and legal systems, and explore modes and methods of negotiating jurisdictions of power.
