Mirre Yayla Seur focuses her artistic practice on sculpture and installation. Delving into the intrinsic properties of materials and their interaction with the human body and surroundings, Seur's creations take observers on a metamorphic journey exploring both external form and internal substance. Her research is often sparked by processes of material transformation such as decay or extraction.
Through her pieces, Seur seeks to blur the boundaries between the physical and the metaphysical, prompting contemplation of where the body's true limits lie.
