Fiona Lutjenhuis

Fiona Lutjenhuis, “A last supper A mouth full of sorrow”, 2022
The work of Fiona Lutjenhuis is about wondering what there would be after death. She fantasizes about God(s) and aliens. This interest came from her parents who were part of a cult and shared their beliefs with her and her sisters. Some of their religious theories are embedded within Fiona and she still to this day is wondering what is real or just a fantasy.
That’s why she depicts images and text that surrounds the concept of the supernatural, death, god(s), and religion. She likes to make images that can show something that was invisible before.
