At the heart of my practice lies an embodied way of working, revolving around the act of painting itself: the movement, the brushstroke, the search for composition, and the experimentation with materials. The gestures are often large and wild; paint is built up through impasto, while energetic scratches bring the canvas into vibration.

At its core, my work peels back the layers of everyday life, revealing an underlying energetic essence- that which you feel resonating within, in response to the world around you. This makes some paintings seem to crawl beneath the skin, winding through your veins in deep shades of red. At other times, the work feels light and filled with hope. As if the sun has broken through, reminding you that the flowers still bloom.

With my work, I aim to deepen our understanding of what it means to be human: a living being of flesh and blood, caring for the world around us. By emphasizing the physical and emotional dimensions of painting, I invite the viewer to reflect on their own humanity.
