Tian Teng
In her recent painting series The Shape of Unseen, Tian Teng brings attention to the
normal, daily scenes witnessed through a window, which are often and easily taken for granted and overlooked by locals. The artist instead highlights the details and corners of everyday life as seen through her outsider's eyes. With postcodes attached as subtitles, she hopes that these paintings can remind and encourage viewers to take note and appreciate what is always around us.
