ROBUCHE is born from the fusion of the two forces of Lou Buche and Javier Rodriguez. ROBUCHE explores the porosity of mediums and narratives by creating images employing a scale of techniques, including drawings, sculptures and objects. The duo parasites the formats distorting the established production flows to develop its own language at the intersections of art and design. Endless forms of conversation and experimentation are at the core of the work. Everything is an image. Energetic visualisations are executed as (digital) paintings, sculptures, illustrations and design artefacts.

Lou Buche (1991) completed his Bachelor’s in graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and master’s in Art & Design from the Sandberg Instituut. His work has been exhibited at Future Gallery in Berlin, Everyday Gallery in Antwerp, and WOW Gallery in Amsterdam, among others. Alongside his artistic practice, Buche has worked as an Image Tutor at the Design Academy Eindhoven and lectured at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design.
Javier Rodriguez (1991) completed his Bachelor in Graphic Design at the Escuela de artediez in Madrid and Masters in Art & Design from the Sandberg Institute. His works have been exhibited at Monderos Gallery in Madrid, Display Gallery in Prague, Future Gallery in Berlin, and My Monkey in France among others.
